National War Memorial wins NZIA Wellington Architecture Award

The strengthening and upgrades of the Hall of Memories and the Carillon Tower at the National War Memorial received an NZIA Wellington Architecture Award last night.

The jury commended the way the new work and strengthening had been integrated and in many cases, totally concealed.

Studio Pacific's team was led by our Heritage Architect, Lianne Cox, and included Sophie Steele, Jon Fraser, Evzen Novak and Michael Davis.

Congratulations and well done to our client the Ministry for Culture and Heritage; the consultant team of TBIG, Dunning Thornton, NDY, WT Partnership; the excellent Brent, Tom, and Chris of Fletcher Construction; and to all the skilled and dedicated tradespeople on the job.
