NZIA New Zealand Architecture Awards

The National War Memorial projects have won an NZIA New Zealand Architecture Award for Heritage.

Over the past five years, Studio Pacific has completed remediation and restoration work on both the Carillon and the Hall of Memories, described by the judges as ‘national treasures’. Praise was given for the sensitive restoration of the buildings, with judges commenting that ‘the project is just as notable for the work that is not visible as for the work that can be seen’.
