Supporting our Community
Studio Pacific believes in giving back and is proud to support a variety of community and non-profit organisations as they accomplish their important missions.
Our involvement in the community takes many shapes and forms - from donating our studio space, time and expertise, and supporting our staff in their personal community activities, through to making regular monthly financial contributions to charities.

Examples of our support:
Habitat for Humanity New Zealand
Habitat for Humanity is a Christian not for-profit organisation that works in partnership with people of goodwill and families in housing needs, to eliminate sub-standard housing by building, renovating and selling simple, decent houses on an affordable basis.
The Studio has had a long and varied association with Habitat for Humanity; from making one of our meeting rooms available for regular meetings and providing technical advice, to a number of our graduate staff assisting on the building site of a house renovation in Berhampore, Wellington. More recently, 15 of our staff assisted with the building of two new houses in Porirua.
Vincent Art Workshop
Vincent Art Workshop is a community based initiative providing access to arts and craft facilities, skilled tuition, and materials within a supportive environment to people with disabilities, those moving into the community from institutions, the unemployed, people on low incomes and others.
In line with the Studio’s ethos of sustainability, Vincent Art Workshop was recently the grateful recipient of a number of deleted and outdated samples of tiles, glass, fabrics, etc for use in its community programmes.
Oxfam Trailblazer
The Oxfam Trailblazer is an annual fundraising event held in Taupo and organised and promoted by Oxfam. Funds raised from the event support Oxfam New Zealand’s humanitarian, development and advocacy work to lift some of the world’s poorest people out of poverty. The challenge involves a team of four completing 100km walk in 36 hours.
Beth Chaney and Di Chaney, two Studio members, were part of a team that successfully completed this challenging and worthwhile fundraising event. The Studio was proud to provide the team with sponsorship.
