An exciting opportunity exists for landscape architects and urban designers within our vibrant Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and/or Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington studios.

Studio Pacific Architecture has an established reputation for award winning architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, and interior projects.  At Studio Pacific, we are a creative, collaborative and cross-disciplinary team, with a diverse portfolio of work across Aotearoa New Zealand.

It is an exciting time to join our growing team, with a range of creative projects, all at various design stages, from project inception and concept analysis through to developed and detailed design. We are looking for full-time graduate landscape architects and urban designers to join our team, working on a range of exciting projects of various scales and complexity. The successful applicant/s will be passionate about the environment, having a strong interest in sustainable design-led solutions. Playing a vital part in a bigger team to bring developments to life, ensuring that the environments we create help shape a positive future. 

Our projects are interwoven with multiple stakeholders, multidisciplinary teams, community, mana whenua engagement and wide-ranging forms of co-design. We offer a positive working environment where architects, landscape architects and urban designers closely collaborate, benefitting from a cross-pollination of ideas and perspectives, to find creative solutions.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or Masters in Landscape Architecture or Urban Design
  • New Zealand landscape knowledge and capability (preferable)
  • Excellent CAD skills (experience using ArchiCAD is an advantage)
  • Experience in the documentation and delivery of constructed projects
  • Strong technical knowledge, skills and experience
  • Great Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop knowledge/skills
  • 2.5 years’ work experience in landscape architecture, urban design and master planning
