Registered Architect (or equivalent)

An opportunity exists for a Registered Architect (or equivalent) to join our vibrant Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland studio.

Studio Pacific Architecture has an established reputation for award-winning architecture, landscape, urban design and interior projects. At Studio Pacific, we are a creative, collaborative and cross-disciplinary team, with a diverse portfolio of work across Aotearoa New Zealand.

We are looking for a full-time staff member to work on a range of exciting projects around the countryThe successful applicant will have excellent design skills, strong CAD (preferably ArchiCAD) and technical skills, be adept at collaborating with and leading project teams, and have the ability to contribute to the design and documentation of our diverse range of projects.

You will be responsible for leading and/or contributing to the design, documentation, and management of transportation, commercial, workplace or community projects. The ability to achieve high levels of design quality and consistency in all project aspects is essential, along with the ability to set and adhere to project budgets, and programmes and to coach and develop team members. Developing strong relationships with clients is also a must.

You will also have a good knowledge of procurement strategies, ECI, and have experience in Site Observation duties of commercial projects.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Completed a degree in Architecture at a recognised school of Architecture or Design
  • Minimum of 7-10 years' industry experience in an Architectural Office
  • Proficient CAD skills (preferably ArchiCAD)
  • Strong Detailed Documentation experience
  • Strong technical knowledge
