Bella Lum

Bella is an Architectural Graduate who joined Studio in 2020 after completing her Master of Architecture at Victoria University of Wellington. She is passionate about supporting wellbeing in practical and everyday spaces, and how an interdisciplinary approach to spatial design can contribute to this.

Through her thesis, Bella investigated how high-density urban environments can be more inclusive of outdoor living and more sensitive to the psychological experience of the home. This allowed her to explore her interest in design that draws on environmental psychology, specifically around how people live and how people emotionally relate to spaces.

Bella is keen to contribute to the Studio Pacific team and be involved in a wide range of projects. She is excited to continue learning how the built environment can contribute to positive experiences.
