Shauna is a registered architect with 22 years' experience in the United States and New Zealand, as well as experience delivering projects globally. Working in commercial workplace design for the past 12 years, she also worked in residential and civic architecture for 10 years prior. Shauna originally joined the studio in 2008, and recently returned after 7 years of working elsewhere in Wellington, including as a client representative.

Shauna's interest is the strategic design of workplaces, and how great design can support an organisation’s strategic goals, business operations, connections, and visitor and employee experiences in the workplace. She is currently working on the Bank of New Zealand’s new Wellington workplace.

Sustainability, wellbeing and considerations of accommodating individuality in our continually evolving places of work inform Shauna's design approach. She is also involved in many industry organisations to strengthen shared knowledge and connections amongst people shaping our spaces.
