Staff Promotions

It brings us great pleasure to congratulate Marc Woodbury, Lianne Cox and Paula MacDonald on their recent promotions.

Marc Woodbury, who has been with Studio Pacific since 1999, has been appointed to the role of Senior Principal. Marc has been the project architect on a number of the Studio’s key projects including the award-winning Meridian Building, Newtown Park Apartments and Aratoi Museum, as well as the new 14 storey commercial office building at 20 Customhouse Quay, which is currently under construction. During his time with the Studio Marc has also made an important contribution to overall staff development through his role organising the Studio’s Continuing Professional Development and mentoring programmes.

Our heritage architect Lianne Cox has been promoted to Senior Associate. Lianne is a well-known heritage expert and Studio Pacific is very fortunate to have her involved in all of our projects that have a heritage element. Her expertise was recognised earlier this year when two of her key projects, the National War Memorial and the Sir Geoffrey Peren Building, received NZIA local awards for heritage.

In recognition of the important role she plays in the overall operations of the Studio, People and Practice Manager Paula MacDonald has also been promoted to Senior Associate. Since joining Studio Pacific in 2009, Paula has led the Studio’s support services and implemented a number of initiatives that contribute to the Studio’s unique culture and make it a great place to work. In addition, Paula sits on the Studio’s Health and Safety Committee and champions diversity within the Studio.

The above promotions are formal acknowledgement of the individuals’ personal performance and skill development. Without exception, Marc, Lianne and Paula all make a significant contribution to the Studio's people, culture and projects, and should be commended for their progress, hard work and effort.

Well done and congratulations Marc, Lianne and Paula!
