Early in November the Tāmaki Regeneration Company (TRC) officially launched the Tāmaki Precinct Masterplan which has been developed by the Studio Pacific team. The masterplan outlines a bold vision for the future of Tāmaki and its people.
Tāmaki is one of the largest urban transformation projects in New Zealand encompassing 153ha of suburban land across the three suburbs of Panmure, Point England, and Glen Innes in East Auckland. Over the next 20 years TRC will replace 2,500 state houses with around 10,000 new social, affordable, and market houses and improved amenity. By gaining a deep understanding of people and place Studio Pacific has developed a principle-based approach that embeds the ingredients for healthy, inclusive, and vibrant neighbourhoods and communities.
