Waipa District Council has approved stage one of the architectural and design contract to build the Te Ara Wai Museum and Discovery Centre in Te Awamutu.
After a competitive tender process Studio Pacific is delighted to be taking on this four-stage contract. Te Ara Wai’s strong focus on the New Zealand Land Wars has given this project significant national awareness.
Studio Pacific’s previous museum projects; including the award-winning He Tohu Document Room at the National Library in Wellington, Museum of Transport & Technology in Auckland (MOTAT) and the New Zealand Memorial in Canberra, Australia demonstrate the studio’s capacity to thoughtfully collaborate with stakeholders to produce inspired projects of this size and type.
