Studio Pacific is excited that today we proudly joined other New Zealand engineering and architecture firms in making the ultimate commitment to diversity and inclusion, by becoming an official signatory of the newly launched Diversity Agenda Accord.
This marks our commitment to diversity at Studio Pacific, we do this through measuring and reporting, education and awareness and participation in professional conversation.
We undertake an annual measurement of our gender balance, and while gender is only one aspect of diversity, it helps keep us accountable. The data has shed light on the good, the bad and the ugly and there is plenty of work to do going forward.
Inclusion is at the centre of how we think, what we say and all we do. Together, we have committed to raising awareness, using humour, being persistent and continuing the conversation about diversity and inclusion to help us un-bias.
Our industries’ work is behind every major human advancement, and makes peoples’ lives better, healthier and more connected. We want our industries to represent everyone, so the world we create is as diverse and inspiring as the people in it.
