Studio Pacific Summer Interns 2021/2022

Studio Pacific are pleased to be welcoming two new Summer Design Interns, one Victoria University of Wellington Research Scholar and one Victoria University of Wellington Practicum Intern to the team this summer 2021–2022.

Over the last few years, Studio Pacific has partnered with Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington’s (VUW), Wellington School of Architecture / Te Kura Waihanga, to grow our engagement with research and teaching programmes over the summer.

This year, we are pleased to be engaging with current architectural students to allow them to gain exposure to a cross-disciplinary practice through assisting us with project work.

The Studio Pacific research arm is expanding its research efforts by working and sponsoring projects in the Industry Practicum course that works with final year Masters of Architectural Science students facilitating the completion of a thesis. This year’s VUW Practicum Intern will be looking at a  a comparative carbon analysis of a commercial building study. We are also pleased to engage a VUW Research Scholar who will be looking at the next phase of an elderly care development study.

We look forward to welcoming our VUW students from November 2021 through to February 2022 and working closely with them on our project work and our research efforts.
