Wellington High School Visits Studio Pacific

This week we were delighted to host Year 12 and 13 Design and Visual Communication Students from Wellington High School at our Te Whanganui-a-Tara studio.

A diverse group of Studio kaimahi presented recent project work to the students and discussed how our projects that are significant to mana whenua are guided by the principles within Te Kawenata o Rata and te Tiriti o Waitangi (Treaty of Waitangi). Listening, sharing knowledge and co-designing are fundamental to how we deliver projects, so the clients and communities we serve see themselves reflected in their buildings, urban spaces and landscapes.

Our team also shared their unique experiences of the architecture and design professions and described the diverse pathways that can lead to a career in the creative world. Studio Pacific is a people and design-led practice with skills and experience across a range of specialty areas including architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, urban design and the business services professions.

Our thanks to the young students of Wellington High School for visiting Studio Pacific and sharing their enthusiasm and interest for architecture and design with us.
