We are pleased to share that Lianne Cox, Principal – Heritage Architecture, has been selected to join the Te Kāhui Whaihanga New Zealand Institute of Architects’ Southern Regional Awards jury.
The NZIA Regional Awards play an important role in recognising the quality and diversity of architecture across Aotearoa. Projects awarded at a regional level may go on to be considered for national honours.
The Southern Regional Awards jury is convened by Andrea O’Connor of Oakley Gray Architects. Lianne joins fellow jurors Ben Hudson of Ben Hudson Architects and Regan Hall of McCoy Wixon Architects.
Lianne brings over three decades of experience as a registered architect in New Zealand, with a strong focus on heritage architecture and the care of existing buildings. Her work spans conservation planning, complex refurbishment projects, and technical leadership across some of the country’s most significant heritage sites.
Lianne’s appointment to the Southern Regional Awards jury reflects her depth of experience and her ongoing commitment to thoughtful, well-informed design.
We look forward to seeing the projects recognised through this year’s Southern Regional Awards programme.
