Studio Pacific is working with Newcrest on Kelburn Residences, a new premium apartment development on Salamanca Road in Wellington.
Positioned opposite the Wellington Botanic Gardens, the six-storey development will comprise of 14 residences, from one, two and three bedroom apartments through to a full floor penthouse. Every home has been designed to make the most of its outlook across Wellington Harbour, with generous living spaces, outdoor areas, and dedicated office or study spaces incorporated into many of the residences.
Shared amenities extend the living environment beyond the apartments themselves. A landscaped garden terrace overlooking the harbour will be complemented by a pavilion-style orangery for entertaining and an onsite gym. The building is also being designed to meet stringent earthquake resilience standards using the 2022 New Zealand National Seismic Hazard Model.
The location brings together some of Kelburn’s best attributes, with the Botanic Garden and Wellington Cable Car nearby and Kelburn Village, Te Herenga Waka–Victoria University of Wellington, Parliament, and the central city all within walking distance.
A resource consent application has been lodged with Wellington City Council, with construction anticipated to be completed from the second quarter of 2029, subject to consent.
