Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington
Jeremy joined Studio Pacific in 2013 after graduating from Victoria University of Wellington in 2013 with a Masters of Architecture (Professional).
The son of a prominent local commercial builder in Blenheim, he has always had an eye for architecture and construction.
During his studies, Jeremy was awarded the Digital Fabrication Prototype Exemplar and Exhibit Scholarship, working as a research assistant to local architect Mark Southcombe. In the process of conducting this research Jeremy acquired skills in digital fabrication, leading the operation of CAD/CAM software and machines.
Jeremy's thesis, entitled ‘Plyscrapers Rematerializing Christchurch’, challenged preconceptions associated with high rise buildings in the Christchurch CBD through employing the feasibility of mass timber construction.
Since joining the Studio, Jeremy has been assisting with the development of several masterplans and related housing typologies and has been a part of the masterplanning and housing team for developing the 7 hectare site of Hobsonville in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. More recently, Jeremy has worked on Brandon House in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington.
