Jess is a Landscape Architecture Graduate with an interest in making our living environments resilient through sustainable and nature based solutions. As well as understanding human experience through design and promoting health and well being.
While completing her masters degree in Landscape Architecture at Victoria University of Wellington, Jess explored how to engage in ecological and social aspects of place to develop avifauna interaction. Through this research she developed a planting toolkit for the Wellington region to aid in designing seasonal habitats for native bird species. Jess encompasses a wide knowledge of biodiversity and ecosystem services as well as an overall enthusiasm towards green infrastructure systems and how they can be incorporated within design.
Jess is excited to contribute to the Landscape Team at Studio Pacific and continue to develop knowledge around ecological systems and how projects are able to create positive impacts both humans and the wider environment.
