Matt's expertise lies in multi-unit residential and apartment developments, working with both social housing providers and private developers. Drawing on over 20 years of experience in this sector, both locally in Wellington and in Edinburgh, UK, Matt's particular knowledge areas include technical detailing, documentation, and project management.
In addition to his residential work, Matt has gained experience in a number of commercial, civic, and sports facilities projects, ranging from fit-outs for large retail clients and refurbishments of listed public buildings to the provision of new clubrooms and sports fields for community groups. He has a particular interest in environmentally responsible and sustainable design, aiming to inform all of his projects with this foundation.
Within the practice, Matt’s role includes delivering projects from the documentation stage through to managing the build on site, as well as providing guidance on the technical aspects of project design.
