Peter Mitchell

Peter is a Principal at Studio Pacific, a New Zealand registered architect, and an urban designer with over 20 years of experience.

In his leadership role at Studio Pacific, Peter fosters close collaboration between all design disciplines, blurring the traditional boundaries between architecture, art, urban design, and landscape. His particular expertise lies in crafting meaningful spaces that respond directly to their sense of place.

Peter has experience in a wide variety of project types in various locations. He has been heavily involved in masterplanning, urban design and landscape work, residential projects across a range of typologies and scales, and various arts and culture-focused projects. He enjoys seeing a project through all design and documentation stages, including the fulfilment of seeing a project through construction to completion.
