Philip joined Studio Pacific in 2021, bringing invaluable experience from Germany, where he became a registered architect with the Bavarian Chamber of Architects.

Having worked at leading architecture practices in Berlin and Munich, Philip’s professional experience includes residential, commercial, and significant cultural building projects, as well as design competitions throughout Europe. These projects, often focused on architectural responses to sensitive historic contexts, ranged in scale and complexity.

Philip is passionate about the social potential of architecture and the careful study of context. He has a strong appreciation for the role architecture can play as a means of exploring ideas and as a medium for research. Valuing collaboration between practice and academia, Philip has experience in architectural education, including teaching Urban Design Theory and Practice at Victoria University.

Philip’s work is characterised by a thoughtful approach to design, ensuring that each project is contextually responsive and socially impactful.
