Elementum is a new residential development at the heart of Long Bay Village on Auckland’s North Shore. The development offers a relaxed coastal lifestyle that is only a stone’s throw from nature’s elements, including Long Bay Regional Park and the shores of Okura Marine Reserve.

Elementum is a nine-building neighbourhood, comprising 107 apartments and 15 terrace homes, built around two forested internal courtyards. The terraced courtyards are populated with an oasis of native plants and trees to provide privacy and views of nature to the residents. Timber platforms and bench seating are connected by paths that zigzag beneath the leafy tree canopy.

The various buildings of Elementum are characterised by a palette of warm whites and golden timbers, with accents of black. Strong architectural elements such as cantilevered ledges, stepped terraces and overhanging roofs articulate the horizontal lines of the development across a sloping site. The four-storey terraced homes are nestled within the native landscape and feature distinctive mansard-shaped roofs with dormer windows. Apartments with walk-up access overlook the forest-like courtyards below and feature spacious open-plan living spaces that flow out to secluded balconies.
