Studio Pacific Wins at the 2019 Wellington Architecture Awards

Studio Pacific is excited to announce that two projects, 20 Customhouse Quay and Te Maru o Tawatawa 135 Britomart Street Social Housing have been awarded Wellington Architecture Awards.

Hosted at the Parliament Banquet Hall, the awards celebrate the best architecture in the Wellington region.

The Jury described 20 Customhouse Quay as “powerful and dynamic”, saying it “sits proudly as New Zealand’s tallest base-isolated building, featuring a subtly understated external diagrid frame, with the body sheathed in an ever-changing series of reflections.”

Of Te Maru o Tawatawa 135 Britomart Street, the Judges said that the housing “provides bright and cheerful housing solutions that feature crisp design detailing and provide a positive street-front solution to Berhampore’s housing needs.”

Congratulations to all other winners on their achievements!
