This October, we celebrate 10 years since Rohan Bailey joined Studio Pacific.
Since 2015, Rohan has played a key role in strengthening our digital systems, supporting project delivery, and helping build BIM capability across the practice. As our Associate – Technology Manager, he continues to lead the development of tools and processes that support efficient, coordinated, and optimised project outcomes.
With more than three decades of architectural experience, and a PhD in Architecture from Victoria University of Wellington, Rohan brings deep technical expertise and a clear, structured approach to all aspects of our digital practice. He also leads Studio Pacific’s BIM strategy and implementation, working across project teams in our Auckland and Wellington studios.
Working within the Business Services rōpū, Rohan supports both project and practice needs – from early-stage planning through to documentation and construction. He has contributed to a range of projects, including leading BIM delivery for Air New Zealand Hangar 4, and continues to advise on project-specific workflows and digital coordination.
Beyond his project work, Rohan plays a key role in strengthening and developing Studio Pacific’s internal capability. He delivers in-house training, develops and maintains digital standards, and ensures our teams are equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to work efficiently and confidently. His training programme covers a broad range of topics including cyber awareness and the safe integration of AI into our practice, helping us stay at the forefront of technology.
A certified Graphisoft Archicad BIM Manager and ISO 19650 Information Management Practitioner, Rohan is also an active contributor to local and international BIM networks. He is an advocate for integrated, collaborative workflows and is known within the studio for his clarity and support of others.
