Air New Zealand Hangar 4 and Elementum at Long Bay have been named a finalists in the 2026 Property Council New Zealand Industry Awards, recognising both project’s contribution to the country’s built environment.
Air New Zealand Hangar 4
Hangar 4 brings together technical performance and a clear, grounded architectural response, shaped through close collaboration with the client and project partners. The success of the project reflects the strength of that partnership and a shared commitment to delivering spaces that work well over time. It also highlights the growing importance of projects that respond to both operational needs and broader environmental and social expectations.
Elementum at Long Bay
Elementum brings together medium-density living and a strong connection to landscape, creating a neighbourhood that feels both connected and private. Shaped around two densely planted internal courtyards, the development balances the practical demands of contemporary housing with generous outdoor spaces, filtered views, and a clear sense of place. Its success reflects a thoughtful response to the Long Bay setting, where architecture, planting, and shared spaces work together to support everyday life and strengthen the wider village context.
Being named as finalista is an opportunity to acknowledge the people behind the projects, and the collective effort that underpins its success. Winners will be announced later this year.
