Hossein is an Urban Designer with extensive experience in urban development projects and landscape design in both Iran and New Zealand.

Hossein holds a PhD in Urban Design, with a particular focus on the temporary use of public spaces for events and festivals. He was involved in the Central Energy Trust Arena (CETA), a project that won a 2022 NZILA award in the Institutional and Commercial category.

Hossein has participated in various design stages of multiple streetscape projects in Wellington, Palmerston North, and Tauranga. His academic contributions have provided him with valuable insights into streetscape and urban design theory and practice.

Hossein is deeply interested in the systematic analysis of the various layers involved in the urban design and planning process.
