Before joining Studio Pacific in 2015, Josie gained residential architecture experience working in Wellington on housing projects, including alterations and new builds, from concept through to construction. She then worked in Melbourne as a Landscape Architect, where she gained experience ranging from large infrastructure works to boutique parks.
Josie has been involved in multiple large-scale master planning projects within Tāmaki and Eastern Porirua, focusing on integrating into existing neighbourhoods, reflecting the area's character, and achieving strong social outcomes. She enjoys the collaboration and opportunities that come with working on these projects and the benefits they provide to the community.
Josie has gained valuable experience in a wide range of project types, including podium landscapes, Wellington City Cycleways, and housing developments. More recently, she has been involved in the design and documentation of large commercial projects, where she has enjoyed the collaboration and complexities involved.
