Julie joined Studio Pacific Architecture in 2015 and was appointed a Principal in 2023. She is currently working on a large commercial development in Wellington.

Julie is a Registered Architect in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom. She has experience working on proposals in sensitive and often historically significant contexts for commercial, housing, mixed-use and education developments. She enjoys helping individuals and organizations to solve problems and to create a positive contribution to the built environment.

Before moving to Wellington, Julie worked at Eric Parry Architects and at Kohn Pederson Fox Associates in London, England. She also taught postgraduate students at The Bartlett, University College London.

Within the practice, Julie is chair of the Workplace Diversity Working Group and contributes to our internal Safety in Design processes.
