Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland

KaiMei (Mei) is an Intermediate Architectural Graduate with a professional background focused on residential design.

Her interest lies in small housing and developing a holistic approach to urban communities. After completing her Master’s degree, Mei gained professional experience in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington before moving to Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. Her experience spans various scales, from home renovations to medium-density housing. Mei is particularly interested in how we relate to the spaces we inhabit, from the smallest scale to the most urban.

Mei is excited to be part of the cross-disciplinary team at Studio Pacific. She hopes to gain experience from every discipline and use that knowledge to shape a collaborative and caring environment. Mei joined the studio in 2023 and aims to contribute to the Studio’s conversation and commitment to multi-disciplinary design.
