Lauren has been a key contributor to studio projects such as the Meridian Building, New Zealand’s first five-star green building, Mt Victoria House and a wide range of commercial and residential projects.

Lauren rejoined the studio in 2019 having spent ten years living in Barcelona and Auckland working for design-led practices, creating bespoke residential architecture with materially-rich interiors and experiential focus. She was appointed to the role of Principal in 2022. 

Lauren brings to the fore a unique combination of professional and creative skills, continually pursuing system efficiencies to deliver exceptional design outcomes. Her creative strengths are broad and reinforced by a strong body of personal work in ceramics and life-drawing.

She is a driver of Design Excellence in the studio and touches upon many projects beyond her residential expertise.

  • Bachelor of Architecture (Honours), Victoria University of Wellington, 2003
  • New Zealand Registered Architect
  • Assessor for New Zealand Registered Architects’ Board (NZRAB), 2014 – 2020
  • Member New Zealand Institute Architects (NZIA)
  • Certified Mental Health First Aider
