Kia Ora High Street!

Earlier this year, Studio Pacific made the decision to move its Tāmaki Makaurau studio from Wynyard Quarter to the heart of the CBD on High Street.

Creating exceptional and inspirational built environments is our passion. By moving to a central location, our practice has a greater opportunity to enhance the way we work in Tāmaki Makaurau, as well as grow and strengthen our partnerships with clients and collaborators.

At Studio Pacific, people and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do. Our intention is to make our people the centre of our studio, encouraging a culture of collaborative creativity and providing a sense of community. To support this focus, our new space in Auckland is open, fluid, and adaptable. A natural palette of finishes has been used to create a calm and welcoming aesthetic. With a carefully designed collection of spaces, the new studio features lighting and acoustic treatments that support a diverse range of work environments and working styles.

Sustainability is another key element of our relocation and renovation. By following the guidelines of a circular economy model (CEMO), our Wynyard Quarter studio's existing furniture and materials were reused, and materials that could not be reused in the fit out, such as the old carpet, were diverted from the landfill by returning to suppliers for recycling and re-use, or donated to local community groups.

Over the past 30 years, Studio Pacific has worked on a wide range of projects in Auckland, such as neighbourhood masterplans for Mangere, Mount Roskill, Sunfield and Tāmaki; a new town centre masterplan for Ormiston; residential developments in HobsonvilleVictoria Park and the Viaduct Basin; a new museum facility for Museum of Transport and Technology; an aircraft Hangar for Air New Zealand, and most recently 30 Madden, a multi-unit apartment development in Wynyard Quarter.

We’re excited by the growth of Tāmaki Makaurau and the future opportunities to shape a place that better reflects the people who live, work, and play in Auckland.

Our new address is Level 1, 59 High Street, Southern Cross Building, Auckland Central New Zealand 1010

You are most welcome to visit us in the New Year.
