Marc Woodbury, Fellow of Te Kāhui Whaihanga NZ Institute of Architects

A massive congratulations to Marc Woodbury, who was made a Fellow of Te Kāhui Whaihanga New Zealand Institute of Architects at the Wellington Architecture Awards in May.

This is an acknowledgment of the breadth and importance of his contributions to the profession, the NZRAB, the Institute and the practice of architecture.

Marc's approach to architecture is based on a desire to achieve the best possible outcome in every situation. His thoroughness and pursuit of excellence across every aspect of our profession has lead him to provide support and guidance within our practice for 24 years and seen him contribute to many award-winning projects including Brandon House20 Customhouse QuaySt Joseph's Church, and the Meridian Building – New Zealand’s first New Zealand Green Building Council (NZGBC) five-star Green Star commercial office building.

Marc is patient and immensely knowledgeable. He can inspire and impart his knowledge design-wise and technically with ease and generosity. These skills came to the fore in his previous role as Deputy Chair of the New Zealand Registered Architects Board.

Whakamihi nui ki a koe, Marc! Thank you for all of your mahi and for being a very generous mentor to many, with your time, your knowledge, and experience.
