Melissa joined Studio Pacific in 2015 and brings over 18 years of experience in commercial interiors and workplace design.

In 2005, Melissa moved to Western Australia, where she spent six years working on a wide range of projects, including office fitouts, healthcare facilities, primary schools, and a winery. In 2007, Melissa played a key role in designing the new Falcon eLibrary, which includes large multi-use community rooms, flexible learning spaces, and a specialised children’s area. In 2012, she was the joint lead designer for the new Augusta Margaret River Shire Council Administration Building and Civic Centre, which incorporates civic administration, council offices, and community meeting/function spaces.

Since returning to New Zealand in 2011, Melissa has utilised her varied design and project management skills to focus on workplace design, working on many of Wellington’s key buildings and remotely on projects in Auckland, Tauranga, and Christchurch.

Melissa is passionate about Activity Based Working and finding the right design solution for the client.
