Jonathan Fraser

Jonathan joined Studio Pacific in 2011, having previously worked with a number of NZIA registered practices in New Zealand and RIBA practices in the UK.

He has also worked as a sole practitioner and has broad experience in all the disciplines of architecture.

Jonathan contributes to each project from his experience on a diverse range of project types and scales. He has been involved in all stages of project delivery, from initial client meetings and engagement through concept design, to detailed design, documentation, procurement, contract establishment/administration and site observation. 

He has a particular interest in environmentally responsible design and appropriate material and technology use, being instrumental in the changes to the NZBC B2/AS1 acceptable levels of timber treatment within buildings. 

Jonathan is also a Trade Certified Carpenter (City & Guilds UK) with over five years of building experience. This hands-on experience gives him a broad understanding of the rigours of combining the design and construction processes to provide a finely crafted product.
