As Senior Principal – People and Practice, Paula manages the people and support services for our busy architectural practice, and has a passion for shaping and supporting the positive and engaging organisational culture the Studio is renowned for.
With responsibility for the company's people and administrative functions, she leads a committed team of people undertaking this mahi. Paula is responsible for developing and implementing the Studio’s people strategy to support our business goals and create a great place to work. With a strong focus on culture and engagement, she is also responsible for performance management and talent management strategies, recruitment, and learning and development. Paula has a strong interest in coaching people for success and building a culture that is inclusive, diverse, modern, flexible and high performing; she believes this starts with ensuring the wellbeing of the SPA whānau stays at the centre of business decisions. Along with the role of Privacy Officer, Paula also helps lead the Studio’s Health, Safety and Wellbeing initiatives.
Paula has a diverse business background, spanning three decades in business management; including human resources, operations, public relations and communications management across a number of industries.
